readthekanji - worth it?

Hi, i just found this site: https://www.readthekanji.com/

I'm studying for N2 and unfortunately N2 and N1 stuff is subscription-only. It cost $5 USD a month.

Do you guys think it's worth it? Or should I just keep practicing by reading manga and memorizing words individually?

I used that site when I was studying for N2, and then N1, and felt that it helped me immensely. (I started using it many years ago though, so was grandfathered into a free plan.) I really did feel that it helped me - I passed both tests on the first try. I was using other study materials (books, media, etc.) too, however.

I used it when I was studying for the N1 and went from ~1000 kanji to all the joyo in a couple of months. It helped enormously (and I passed).

Cool, that's just the kind of info I wanted to hear! I have 3 months to be prepared enough to pass N2 >.>

So far it seems like they only have one example sentence per word, or at least I keep getting the same ones over and over... I feel a bit sad about that.
