"The canary that forgot its song"

Hello! I was watching the anime "Shangri-la" and I heard a Japanese kids song which I'm pretty sure is "The Canary that forgot its/his song". I tried Googling for the lyrics or maybe just to listen to the whole song which I didn't have much luck. I also tried using some of the links the comm has and they were pretty confusing when I tried to translate some word for word. So basically I was wondering if anyone knows how you say/write the title in Japanese? Either in romaji or hiragana. THANKS! And if it helps, some of the English translation to some of the verses are:
"the canary has forgotten how to sing
shall we set it free in the mountains behind us?
no no you must not"

Heres the translations:
Uta wo wasureta kanaria wa ushiro no yama ni sutemashouka
-The canary that forgot its song, should we throw it away in the mountain behind?
Ie ie sorewa narimasenn
-No no, you should not
Uta wo wasureta kanaria wa seto no koyabu ni umemashouka?
-The canary that forgot its song, should we bury it under that small bush?
Ie ie sorewa narimasenn
-No no, you should not
Uta wo wasureta kanaria wa yanagi no muchi de buchimashouka?
-The canary that forgot its song, should we whip it?
Ie ie sorewa kawaisou
-No no, that is too cruel
Uta wo wasureta kanaria wa zouge no fune ni gin no kai, tsukiyo no umi ni ukabeleba wasureta uta wo omoidasu
-The canary that forgot its song, float it on its boat and it'll remember the song it forgot

Boy that took a long time!
I simplified some of the translation a little.
Also yes the version in the anime is great.
Is there a version like that somewhere?

I clicked on the link above but it's been banned. Did you happen to find another vid on youtube or any other website? I prefer the Shangri La version since it's the first one I ever heard.
